What do I need to do to hike Angels Landing?

Angels Landing is the chain-lined section of trail beginning at Scouts Lookout. To hike this trail you must have a permit obtained from Zion National Park. View the video below for details on how to obtain a permit.

Looking for a guide? Even though this hike is permitted it is allowed to be guided, however, a permit is still required for all participants which is included on the tour. Book our Angels Landing Summit Experience Tour which is only available run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

What are the details of taking the Park Shuttle in Zion National Park?

The Zion Park Shuttle is a complimentary (free) shuttle providing access to all trailheads along the Zion Scenic Drive.

  • The shuttle does NOT run year-round.

  • You do NOT need a ticket or reservation to get onto the shuttle.

  • You are REQUIRED to wear a mask on the shuttle.

Where do I get a Park Entrance Pass?

You may purchase any type of pass at the vehicle or pedestrian entrance of Zion National Park.

Where can we park?

There is parking (usually for a fee) in the town of Springdale. If you reserve rentals or a guided tour through us we offer complimentary parking in our gravel parking lot.

Where to eat?

  • One of our favorite breakfast and light lunch options is Deep Creek Coffee Company. Pro-tip: they offer an order-ahead option so you can skip the line!

  • Oscars is a great lunch and dinner spot, just be ready for a big meal!

  • A visit to Zion without having dinner at the Bit & Spur is a trip unfinished. Make sure to plan to have dinner here one night.

What do our tours include?

We offer both full-day and half-day tours.
Half-day tours include:

  • Transportation as needed

  • WFR certified guide

  • Any necessary equipment for the activity

Is park entrance included in the tours?

No. Zion National Park requires an entry fee which can be purchased upon arrival. Entrance is permitted with either an America the Beautiful Annual Pass ($80) or a Zion-specific park pass ($35) BOTH of these options covers 4 people or one vehicle.

Where do we meet?

All of our tours meet at our shop at 868 Zion Park Blvd, Springdale UT 84767. However, your guide will reach out to you prior to the trip and may choose to coordinate a different meetup location.

What do we need to bring?

Southern Utah is a desert climate. PLEASE be prepared with the following:

  • Water (2-3 liters per person recommended)

  • Backpack

  • Snacks

  • Layers (windbreakers or sun protection)

  • Sunglasses

  • Hat

What is your cancellation policy?

There is a 48-hour fully refundable cancellation period post-booking (only valid for bookings outside of 72 hours). Cancellations after 48 hours and outside of 15 days are offered a 90% (of the total) refund.  Any cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable. However, we understand emergencies happen, and we may issue a 1-year non-transferable voucher for the full cost of any trip or rental based on management discretion. Any cancellations with valid documentation of their inability to travel based on health or home governing systems will receive a 90% (of the total) refund (with first being offered the voucher option). In the event of *unsafe weather or other dangerous conditions, your guide or staff member may choose to cancel a reservation. Guide or staff canceled reservations receive a credit for future use or a 90% (of the total) refund. Rainfall or a forecast of rain does not necessarily require a reservation to be canceled.

*It's important to note that our tours are designed to take you on an adventure through the great outdoors, and sometimes, the weather can be unpredictable. That's why we don't cancel tours due to cold weather, rain, snow, or heat. We know that these natural elements are part of the outdoor experience, and we want you to have the best adventure possible!

Where is our shop located?

  • The shop is about 1 half-mile from the south entrance to Zion National Park. We are set back off from the main road (SR9) through Springdale. Behind the Pizza & Noodle restaurant.

Where do our guides and shop staff live?

  • The majority of our guides and shop staff live in La Verkin, Hurricane, or Rockville.
